I KNOW THIS IS KINDA LONG BUT PLEASE READ THIS ITS IMPORTANT!!!

ok so this is Venezuela, my country, and these protests are happening right now 20 minutes away from my house, not only here in the capital (Caracas) but in many other cities throughout the country. basically the economic/social/political situation started decreasing terribly since president chavez had power, and after his death, president maduro took his place and then won (apparently by cheating) the elections, but by very very little, meaning Venezuela is divided in half. In an extremely short period of time everything got out of control: the national debt, prices, scareceness of products like milk and fucking toilet paper, and of course the insecurity. 70 people die daily because of this, and during wars in Iraq the daily deaths were 24, so tell me if it isnt dangerous out there? I havent felt safe for as long as i can remember and i cant live properly like this, I cant go out with my friends and not fear for my life, or enjoy going to parties because i cant be picked up too late. i have tears in my eyes right now.

yesterday, february 12, 2014, a march took place, where students and workers would peacefully walk the streets in order to protest against president maduro´s government, but things got violent because the military started shooting and hitting people and by the end of the day 3 people had died, 23 were badly hurt and more than 25 were imprisoned (most of them were college students). more than half of my high school was missing because seniors and juniors were marching and because some that live far away couldnt come. today more people came but still many were missing so exams were suspended and many schools dont even have classes. the protests and marches continue and everyone is more scared than theyve ever been. everything is horrible and i just wanted you to spread the word because no one knows whats going on, we´re struggling against injustice and crime and we are suffering a lot.

ps= the last picture says ¨i will keep planting rebellion until i harvest liberty¨ which i think is just great. I love you Venezuela, keep fighting #PrayForVenezuela
